Very happy with my Bluehost account - I recently signed up for an account at Bluehost, after a not so good experience with WebHostingPad. I used a coupon/referral to get 2 years for service for $3.95/mo, which is a bargain. I haven't had any problems yet! I contacted tech support to get shell access, which they did for me at 3AM. I also had some questions about certain features. The tech support guy was very knowledgable, and available on a Saturday (with no waiting!!!) Cpanel is very easy to use, and I can also use SCP, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, Cpanel File manager, SSH, etc. I recommend Bluehost to anyone!
I run several domains and subdomains on one bluehost account. I have SSL on one domain, running OSCommerce. I haven't had any big problems, I find them helpful on customer service, and uptime is as quoted or better. Their server setup is very flexible for php, allowing me to set individual php.ini files. I wouldn't have known that cPanel had been limited, because it has lots of useful functionality. It's great value for money, and I'm a happy customer.
Bluehost is a solid web hosting performer. I am grateful for their excellent service and awesome uptime. Great reliability and I can depend on Bluehost to keep my site up and running all the time. Have not found another host that can match these guys...
